Butterfield climbs

Butterfield Bank bounced back to increase its share value by five cents (0.3 percent) to close up at $17.35 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The bank also traded 1,500 shares, as did Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. - warrants, which saw 3,000 shares change hands, while Argus Group Holdings Ltd. traded 400, but both their share prices remained unaffected.
As a whole, the Index finished up 8.79 points (0.17 percent) on 5,133.5, with a total of 4,900 shares worth $38,925 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, was also up 0.48 points (0.05 percent) at 1,065.03.
