A British computer programming expert who has most recently worked for the Bank of New York in Brussels has joined Bermuda-based Independent Consulting Solutions.

Londoner Karl Shaharudin has extensive experience of Lotus Notes, an IBM computer business software.

He has been appointed Senior Lotus Domino Consultant with technology services consulting company ICS.

Previously he worked in Belgium for the Bank of New York as a Lotus Notes Consultant. He is an expert in Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino, and brings more than 15 years of solutions-oriented technological experience to his new role.

As a consultant for ICS, Mr. Shaharudin will be responsible for Lotus Notes and Domino R6 administration, LotusScript, JavaScript and Java programming, HTML programming, and systems administration. He will also oversee ongoing projects at ICS and develop client-specific proposals.

He has a degree in computer science and information management from the University of Central England.
