CableVision has announced the addition of two High-Definition (HD) networks.

Rollin Nathan, sales manager, said: "CableVision's HD line-up is unmatched in Bermuda. We are the only ones offering HD and it just keeps getting better.

"We have added CNN HD and NFL NETWORK HD to our High-definition Tier, bringing the total number of channels to ten.

"At the same time, we are keeping the cost to our subscribers the same, at $12 a month. This is one more way we are giving customers more value for their money."

CNN HD, on Channel 400, is a high-definition (HD) simulcast of the 24-hour news channel CNN.

Launched just last September, CNN HD's programme line-up includes that of CNN's main channel, with high-definition broadcasts of select programming.

For those interested in following the US elections on primary and caucus nights, America Votes 2008 with Wolf Blitzer is being produced in full HD at the CNN Election Center in New York. During these broadcasts viewers can also find additional information on the side of their TV screens.

Also launched, NFL NETWORK HD, on Channel 407, is the second new addition to CableVision's HDTV Tier.

NFL Network airs nearly 200 football games annually including 52 preseason games, 98 game replays, Super Bowl and NFL Classics plus the Insight Bowl, Texas Bowl and Senior Bowl.

NFL Network will also bring viewers every selection of the upcoming April 26-27 NFL Draft and is the exclusive home to the NFL Scouting Combine each February.

NFL Network airs seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis and is the first television network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of football.
