Red Cross takes Solace in new film

THE Bermuda Red Cross is inviting James Bond fans to an exclusive screening of the new Bond movie, Quantum of Solace.

Tickets are limited so you will have to move fast.

The screening takes place on Friday, November 14 at 6 p.m. at the Little Theatre on Queen Street and the Bermuda Red Cross has two exciting opportunities open to the public:

1. For Your Eyes Only ¿ admission to the film only is $30 per person

2. License to Dine ¿ admission to the film followed by dinner at Port O'Call is $150 per person. Admission includes a martini or cosmopolitan on arrival at the Front Street restaurant, a three-course dinner, coffee and gratuities. All additional drinks/wine are at the ticket holder's expense.

However, there are only 100 tickets available for the dinner and movie and an additional 62 tickets for the movie only. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bermuda Red Cross director Ann Spencer-Arscott said reservations will only be taken over the phone on 236-8253, or in person at the Bermuda Red Cross office at 9 Berry Hill Road. Office hours are 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and must be accompanied by payment in full.

"There will be no reserve seating at the theatre," she added.
