WHAT’S a hot destination for spring-break cruising? Bermuda! That’s according to Cruise Critic, a leading on-line source for consumer cruise information, which lists Bermuda as “on fire” for a late-winter, early-spring getaway.

And cruise lines are making the most of the extreme weather in the US to lure potential cruisers to Bermuda with the promise of “non-stop beach bumming”.

An even bigger lure is offering a free ride to anyone under the age of 17 accompanied by two paying adults on select voyages to Bermuda with Carnival, NCL or Celebrity.

According to Cruise Critic, cruise lines are targeting those who simply need to escape from the cold, educators with a much needed week off, fun-loving families and college co-eds.
