A 17-year-old appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning on charges related to yesterday’s dramatic events at CedarBridge Academy.
CedarBridge student Jermaine Usher pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm to a 16-year-old St. George’s resident.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named, is also a student at the Devonshire senior school.
Usher, of Hamilton Parish, was unrepresented in court. The specifics of the charges will not be read until he has retained a lawyer.
He was bailed at $2,000 plus one surety and ordered to return to court on July 28.
