Police and soldiers will exchange their uniforms for football gear tomorrow night as they oppose each other in a charity match at the National Sports Centre.
The First Annual Fabian Relief Classic, which starts at 7 p.m., is part of fund-raising activities to assist the families whose loved ones perished in Hurricane Fabian on September 5.
Both Commissioner of Police Jonathan Smith and Commanding Officer of the Regiment Lt. Col. Eddie Lamb have expressed an interest in playing in the friendly game at which donations will be collected for the September 5 Victims? Fund.
It is hoped these contributions will boost the fund to $30,000. It now stands at $28,000.
