FA Cup replay tonight

The final team for Friday's FA Cup second round draw will be determined tonight at Devonshire Rec. (8.30) when St. David's and BAA Wanderers meet in their first round replay.

First Division side St. David's made hard work of their Commercial League opponents on Sunday at BAA Field, twice coming from behind to salvage a 2-2 extra-time draw against a determined Wanderers side who finished the match with only nine men.

Wanderers' second player had already been ejected when they took the lead again in injury time only to see St. David's force another equaliser.

Wanderers, however, will be at a disadvantage in tonight's replay as their ageing squad will have had just two days to recover from Sunday's demanding tie. Also, they will be without two key defenders, Steve Black and Brian Cook, who received red cards on the weekend.

Meanwhile, tomorrow's Shield match between Boulevard and Ireland Rangers has been postponed to clear the way for the twice postponed league matches between Dandy Town Town and Somerset and Hemisphire Royals and Rude Girls. Those matches are scheduled for St. John's Field tomorrow night, with the Women's League match starting at 7.00 and the Premier Division fixture at 9.00.
