Last year?s CD&P winner Tyler Butterfield finished 59th in the Under 23 World Championships on Saturday.

Butterfield, who chose to head to Madrid, Spain, rather than defend his crown, finished in three hours, 57 minutes and 15 seconds.

The Olympic triathlete, in his last year of eligibility, finished in a small group 18 seconds behind the peleton.
