Chris Foggo hammered 129 runs in the first Cup Match trial of the year for St. George's at Wellington Oval yesterday.

Playing for Charlie Marshall's President's Select, the young opener led the way with a fierce knock that enabled the team to reach a formidable 289. Marshall himself struck 44 and Glenn Blakeney 41. Eugene Foggo took two for 37 and Clay Smith two for 52.

The Vice-President's Select fell just short by replying with 237. Herbie Bascome hit 71, Jason Anderson 36, Phillip Pitcher 30, Lionel Cann 27 and Clay Smith 27. Young Ankoma Cannonier was the top bowler with five for 47.
