Perennial road race champion Jay Donawa finished a respectable 15th out of 43 runners at the weekend in a major regional cross country race.
Competing in the senior men?s division in Orlando, Florida, at the Nacac Cross Country Championships, the full time fireman clocked a time of 27 minutes and 21 seconds on the winding eight kilometre course.
The race ? which included the best cross country runners from all over North and Central America as well as the Caribbean ? was won by none other than Mexican Juan Luis Barrios, January?s Front Street Mile and International 10K champion.
