Devonshire Colts skipper Shannon Burgess put his side ahead in the 28th minute at BAA Field and the mercurial Jason Dill doubled the tally with a 48th-minute penalty.

Angelo Cannonier pulled a goal back and gave St. David's some hope in the 63rd minute but his team made no further inroads.

However, Dill was again in the fore of the action before the game ended, being given a straight red in the 74th minute.

St. George's 0

Ireland Rangers 0

Despite being an absorbing encounter, both failed to hit the back of the net at Wellington Oval.

In fact, Rangers did not have a shot on goal for the entire 90 minutes while St. George's squandered at least three of the easiest opportunities possible.

Oronde Bascome inexplicably scooped the ball over the crossbar from about three yards and substitute Allan Douglas Jr. shot wide of the mark twice, forcing their team to share the points with their guests.

X-Roads 5 Social Club 4

In what was described as “a wild one” by an X-Roads player, the home team ‘traded punches' with the opposition, banging in five goals to the visitors' four at Garrison Field.

Scoring for X-Roads were Aaron Williams, Howard Ascento, Dennis Mussen Jr, Kemo Smith and Hicham Boukloufi respectively.

Prospect 3 Paget 2

A hotly-disputed penalty was the main difference between the two sides at Police Field yesterday.

Yusaff Pitt opened the scoring for Paget as the visitors dominated the opening period. But it was all change after the break with Clifford Roberts - easily Prospect's best player - equalised with a beautiful lob.

Jerome Laws broke the deadlock from the spot after Paget were penalised for holding at a corner and Sergio Wilkinson pushed them further ahead in the final minutes.

Pitt grabbed a consolation for Paget in injury time but it was too little, too late for a side that really should have won this encounter.
