Bermuda smashed Montserrat 13-0 in the first leg of its World Cup qualifier.

In a record win for Bermuda, Damon Ming and John Barry Nusum collected hat tricks, Ralph Bean scored twice and Khano Smith, Ottis Steede, Meshach Wade, Rohaan Simons and Shannon Burgess each bagged one goal.

At half-time at the National Sports Centre, the score was 6-0.

Bermuda now go to Montserrat for the second-leg, but are certainties to face El Salvador in the next round in June.
