Premier soccer wash-out
Last night's soccer showdown between North Village and Devonshire Cougars was postponed because of rain.
The Premier Division match, earmarked for Devonshire Recreation Club, will be rescheduled for a later date so these teams will remain on the sidelines tomorrow while their top-flight counterparts are in action.
The championship race gets tighter with a top-of-the-table clash between league leaders Dandy Town and second-placed Boulevard at BAA Field.
Town, with 17 points, have a one-point advantage over Boulevard and are looking to distance themselves from other contenders.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, Hamilton Parish will be trying to pull themselves out of relegation trouble when they host Southampton Rangers at St. David's while Devonshire Colts and Somerset Eagles ? also dicing with the drop ? will do battle at White Hill Field.
In the First Division, St. David's host St. George's, Paget play Ireland Rangers at White Hill, Prospect host PHC at Police Field and Wolves face Somerset Trojans at Devonshire Rec.
