Dear Sir,

The whole idea of Buy Bermuda seemed to be beautiful, until I started doing my Christmas shopping. The price tags on such items are ridiculous. You would have thought that since a recession is nearing, prices would be decreased. Instead, prices have increased almost doubled.

These merchants haven't given consumers any incentive to want to shop here.

They need to drop their prices to be able to compete. Being a consumer, I have no other choice but to shop abroad. As much as I would love to support this Island, I have to support my family first.
