Vacationing Canadian Policeman Peter Huska has rightly been praised for chasing down a purse-snatcher in Hamilton on Saturday.

And now a second citizen is reported to have recovered a purse snatched from an elderly woman - although the thief got away.

Bermuda tends to go through waves of purse-snatches, which is the ultimate in cowardly crimes as thieves often prey on the weak and the elderly.

Only by showing that they will get stopped and will not get away with it will it be stopped.
