Police are investigating an incident at a football club on Wednesday night that left a man injured.

Police said they were informed of a disturbance at Dandy Town Football Club on St. John's Road at around 11.15 p.m.

Although details about the incident were unclear, the male victim was taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment of facial injuries and released. Inquiries into the incident are underway.
