Police have issued are warning that they are clamping down on public consumption of alcohol.

Director of Police Media Relations, Dwayne Caines said that ten arrests were made on Wednesday and Thursday in connection with the clampdown. He noted that it is an offence to drink alcoholic beverages in public and warned local residents to refrain from doing so, or face arrest and fines.
