Motorists pay more at pumps

Fuel prices have gone up across the board this month with motorists filling up with gas paying an extra 1.7 cents to 162.8 cents per litre, the Ministry of Finance has announced.

As from Monday this week there has been an increase in the cost of gas, diesel and kerosene on the Island. The maximum price that can be charged for a litre of diesel is now 140.9 cents and the maximum for a litre of kerosene is 116.6 cents, a rise of 2.7 cents and 0.9 cents per litre respectively.

The comes a month after the cost of the three fuels was lowered by Government.
