Top post at CTO open to Bermudians

The Caribbean Tourism Organisation is inviting interested Bermudians to apply for the post of Secretary General.

According to the Bermuda Department of Tourism, the CTO sent correspondence to all members inviting submissions from Caribbean nationals, both within and outside the region, who wish to apply for the Caribbean?s top public sector tourism position.

With headquarters in Barbados and marketing operations in New York, London and Toronto, the CTO is the Caribbean?s tourism development agency.

The deadline for applications is November 24, 2004.

Responsibilities of the Secretary General include creating strategies, ensuring the implementation of regional tourism policies, administering and coordinating the activities and programmes of CTO and having ultimate responsibility for the finances and work plans of the organisation.
