Man admits importing cocaine worth $3 million
A man will be sentenced for importing nearly $3 million worth of cocaine in Supreme Court on Wednesday.
In yesterday's arraignments session Errol Keith Fenty, 48, from Nottingham, England pleaded guilty to importing cocaine on April 23 this year.
But he pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply. That charge will remain on file.
It is understood he imported 11,638.1 grammes of cocaine with a street value of $2.9 million.
Fenty was jointly charged with importing cocaine with Dana Marie Francis, 26, of Tottenham, London who will re-appear for mention in November's arraignments session.
In a separate matter Thaddeus Elton Spring, of St. Vincent, will be sentenced today after pleading guilty to handling 996.2 grammes of cocaine with intent to supply on April 28.
Fitzroy George Hamilton, of Jamaica, was jointly charged with Spring but did not have to plead to charges of importation of a controlled drug and supply of a controlled drug on the same date after his lawyer Victoria Pearman announced she intended to quash the indictment.
