Police investigate home burglaries
Police said that two homes were broken into last Thursday.
At 5.50 p.m. Police investigated a Loyalty Drive, Sandys home as the scene of a potential breaking and entering.
The residents at Loyalty Drive said that sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. that day, an unknown culprit had broken into their home.
The thief got away with $400 US in cash.
A little more than an hour later, at 6.55 p.m. Police had to travel to Serpentine Road, in Pembroke.
Residents there said that sometime between 7.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m., an unknown culprit broke in to their home.
"The culprit stole a red / orange knapsack, an RCA CD player, a carton of Marlboro cigarettes as well as an unknown quantity of alcohol and food items," Police said.
Inquiries into both of these incidents are underway, Police said.
