A driver was in collision with a parked car and a utility pole early on Saturday morning. The single vehicle accident happened on Palmetto Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The driver was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for his injuries. Yesterday a spokesperson at the hospital said the driver was in satisfactory condition on the general ward.

The car was extensively damaged as a result of the accident.
