Weekend crime spree hits the Island

Bermuda had a crime-ridden weekend with 26 different incidents reported to Police.Police reported four disturbances at residences and 11 break-ins - four in Pembroke, two in Paget, one in Warwick, one in Devonshire, one in St. George's and two in Southampton.

Police reported four disturbances at residences and 11 break-ins - four in Pembroke, two in Paget, one in Warwick, one in Devonshire, one in St. George's and two in Southampton.

And in addition, they are appealing to the public to be more considerate when playing loud music with 11 complaints coming in from all over the Island.

There were also two reports of people driving under the influence of alcohol.

On Sunday between 2 and 9 p.m., thieves got away with a black leather jewellery box, a gold bracelet, a gold watch, a silver watch, hoop earrings, a wishbone ring, a ruby and diamond ring, a gold bangle and a blue knapsack from a house in Middle Road, Southampton.
