Politicians salaries are set to rise on April 1 with MPs getting $39,428 ? up from $37,730 while Senators get a rise of just over $1,000 to $26,287.

The Premier will get a salary of $72,286 to add to his MP earnings while the Deputy Premier gets a rise of just over $2,000 to $49,285.The largest rise is the Attorney General?s salary which goes from $105,506 to $110,254.
