Police were called after a pitched battle developed outside Harrington Workmen's club in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police Support Unit and reserve Police raced to Club Road, Smith's after reports of a disturbance and saw a group of men fighting as a crowd watched.

But as Police approached the men ran and the crowd dispersed.

Also over the weekend, a burglar stole a DVD player, video camera and cash from a Field End View Lane, Pembroke home in the early hours of Saturday.
