More than 45 percent of respondents to an informal online poll try to buy Bermudian.

The poll, which ran last week on The Royal Gazette's website, www.theroyalgazette.com, received 216 responses.

Of those responses, 45.6 percent said they try to buy Bermudian and 31 percent said they did not. Nineteen percent said they did not care and 4.2 percent said they did not know.

It is possible that the high “don't care” response was a result of the high number of people living overseas who visit the website.
