I would love to see Henry get the World Player of the Year award
FIFA announced this week that the three finalists for the World Player of the Year award are Real Madrid's Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane along with Arsenal's Thierry Henry. Ronaldo has won this award three times while Zidane has won it twice.
And there is no doubt that Henry deserves to be in the reckoning for this award. In fact I would like to see him win it. Over the past few years he has been sensational for Arsenal. He has scored so many great goals and he is a player who plays all over the park. Obviously Ronaldo and Zidane are great players and fully deserve to be in the final three but I hope that Henry gets it. I love watching him.

Speaking of Henry, he scored a couple of goals in fantastic 5-1 win against in Italy this week. To go to Milan and win by that scoreline really shows something and I hope Arsenal continue to play like this in the Champions League and get through to the next round.
Arsenal had a bad start to this Champions League campaign but now they are showing just what they are capable of. They stunned Inter ? and that is not easy to do especially on their home ground.are through to the next round after their 1-0 victory over on Wednesday with Forlan keeping up his goal-scoring feats.
Germany's are also through after they beat 1-0. And the last match in this group will be between United and Stuttgart in Manchester. Don't believe that both teams will take it easy just because they are through. They both will want to finish on top of the group because the second place team could find themselves up against sides like Real Madrid or Juventus in the next round.
Although they had already made it to the next round, put out their full side on Wednesday against and won 2-1 which included a Beckham-special free kick. I thought the Marseille goalkeeper was too far off his line for that free kick and Beckham punished him. Beckham also scored a beautiful goal for Real last weekend against Albacete. He is really settling in now with his superstar teammates at Real and he can only get better as a player by playing with the likes of Raul, Figo, Zidane and Ronaldo.
It is also nice to see smaller teams like and make it through to the next round of the Champions League. It gives the competition that little extra spice. are on top of a very tight Group A after their scoreless draw against on Tuesday. And the Germans can be thankful that their keeper Kahn was in good form as he stopped two good shots. It would be nice to see Celtic go through and carry the Scottish hopes with them as Rangers didn't make it.

First he was supposed to take over the Nigerian national team and then that suddenly fell through. Now Bryan Robson is taking over Bradford City who are stuggling in the First Division.
I think Bradford is a better move for Robson because when it comes to Nigeria there are always problems getting paid!
Robson has been out of it for about three years now since he left as manager of Middlesbrough and I think he will do a good job at Bradford.

The top game this weekend is on Sunday when Manchester United take on Chelsea. I think United will be in for a surprise and I am leaning towards a Chelsea victory. They have so many great players and they are starting to play well now. The game promises to be a real cracker.

The 21-year-old Landon Donovan who has been playing for the San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS scored two goals in his team's 4-2 victory over the Chicago Fire to win the MLS Cup last weekend.
I really hope that Donovan moves to Europe soon. He is a very good player as anyone who watched the US team at the World Cup last year could see. He deserves to be playing in Europe ? not that I am putting down the MLS but Europe is vastly different. Donovan has got great speed which you cannot teach and he has an eye for goal. And he is still very young.
