FT turns spotlight on Island
Bermuda is in the spotlight with a special supplement on the Island running in today's Financial Times newspaper.
The supplement's stories focus on the Island's international business sector from regulation issues to corporate inversions and the economy's winners and losers.
There is also a look at how the "cosy club" of local banks could face foreign competition and how Bermuda-based insurers have profited from rate increases in the current hard market.
There is even a "case study" of the Bermuda Stock Exchange with an analysis of how the BSX is doing including the impact of the Bank of Bermuda - which used to account for around half the market capitalisation of domestic companies listed on the Exchange - doing a secondary listing, earlier in the year, on Nasdaq.
The widely-read UK paper has a circulation of close to 400,000.
