The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 3.43 points or 0.14 percent yesterday to close at 2,375.84. A total of 4,776 shares worth 143,349 were traded.

The Bank of Bermuda remained unchanged at $43 despite 2,415 shares changing hands, and the Bank of Butterfield finished down 25 cents or 0.8 percent to close at $29.25 after 200 shares were traded.

Island Press Holdings Ltd. fell 35 cents or 7.6 percent to close at $4.25 with volume of 1,010.

Belco Holdings Ltd. was the only stock to gain for the day, posting a 50 cent or 2 percent increase to close at $25.50 with volume of 1,151.
