A quiet day of trading saw Bank of Butterfield stock pushed up even higher by 40 cents to $39.50, a new 52-week high.

This in turn pushed The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index up 9.68 points or 0.35 percent to finish at 2,770.86 on a volume of 5,725 shares worth $212,175.
