BSX gains as bank rises

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index gained 12 points yesterday after Bank of Butterfield stock gained ground.
Bermuda's oldest bank gained 50 cents to close at $35.50. Argus and BF&M shares both traded, but closed unchanged at $19.74 and $10 respectively.
The index closed up 12.10 points or 0.45 percent at 2,713.06 on a volume of 8,128 shares worth $242,555. No bonds traded.
