BSX jumps again as Butterfield reveals results

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday gained 34.30 points to close at 3,371.82.Investors bought and sold 4,968 shares worth a total value of $193,865.Butterfield Bank, which announced a 47.7 percent rise in quarterly earnings yesterday, saw 4,528 shares trade hands while investors pushed up the share price 75 cents to $42.

KeyTech Ltd. ? the parent company of BTC, Mobility and Logic Communications ? investors bought and sold 440 shares while the share price rose five cents to $10.75.
