In-house business moves for tanker owner

Bermuda-based Golar LNG Limited, an owner of tankers hauling liquefied natural gas, returned seven directors at its annual general meeting on Tuesday.

Re-elected as directors were Tor Olav Trøim, Daniel Rabun, Thorleif Egeli, Carl Steen, Niels G. Stolt-Nielsen, Lori Wheeler-Naess, and Georgina E. Sousa.

A resolution was passed to re-appoint Ernst & Young LLP of London, England as auditors and to authorise the directors to determine their remuneration.

It was also resolved to approve remuneration of the company’s board of directors of a total amount of fees not to exceed $1.75 million for the year ended December 31, 2021.
