Three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles for guided tours have been given the green light by MPs.
The House of Assembly backed the Motor Car (Liveries) Amendment Act, designed to increase the types of vehicles allowed for tours.
Lawrence Scott, the transport minister, said the machines, electric or gas-powered, would follow routes “agreed in advance”.
Mr Scott said: “Tour operators will get permission from the Department of Parks to drive through.
“The number of tour groups will be spaced out so that they do not create a caravan.”
The legislation was passed with support from both sides of the House last Friday.
