OBA reshuffles Shadow Cabinet
A shake-up of the One Bermuda Alliance shadow cabinet has been unveiled by the party’s leader.
The move by Cole Simons comes just before the Government is to set out its plans for the year ahead with Friday’s Throne Speech.
In the partial reshuffle of the OBA’s top team, shadow minister of legal affairs Scott Pearman also takes on the home affairs brief, including the environment.
And Susan Jackson becomes the OBA’s shadow transportation minister as well as retaining her brief as education spokesperson in the House of Assembly.
Also, senator Marcus Jones takes over as shadow minister of economic development.
Mr Simons said: “In order to optimise the skills of my shadow cabinet ministers, I have made a partial reshuffle.
“We take the view that these new appointments will further strengthen the current shadow cabinet and will enable the new appointees to maximise their skills and expertise and become more effective in serving the needs of Bermuda.”
