I might have been on the bench for the past few games but I am confident my time will come.

The manager, Kevin Keegan, has stuck with the partnership of Darren Huckerby and Nicolas Anelka for the opening matches of the season and so I just have to bide my time.

It's early doors and I am certain my chance will arrive, I just have to be mentally and physically right for when it does.

Nic scored his first goals for the club with a hat-trick in the 3-1 win over Everton last weekend.

But if Darren does not score in the next game, although he has been playing well, he would have, I think, a ratio of one goal in five games.

The manager may then decide to consider changing things.

That is just my thinking, having said that he may decide to give him six games.

Obviously I would rather we were all scoring but if what I said was to happen, dropping Darren could stop him from having a really long dry spell.

He could regain his appetite in training and then be back.

The Premiership is all about rotation - well I say rotation but we all know Nic will be playing week in week out whatever happens!

Our next match is against Arsenal on Tuesday. That is a massive game.

They are the team that no one wants to play.

I have seen some highlights of their matches on TV and they are in exceptional form and I think they have the edge over Manchester United this season.

There's a lot going on off the field at United, but on the field I think Arsenal look better as well. They seem more comfortable at this moment in time.

But we cannot be concerned with other teams, we have to concentrate on our own game. We have won two and lost two and we have to try and find some consistency.

A good result against the Gunners could be the start of that.
