Police to enforce new curfew, minister warns

Police will enforce the new curfew and issue fixed penalty tickets to offenders, it was warned last night.
Lawrence Scott, the acting national security minister, said that the curfew — from 12.30am to 5am — would start tonight and run until January 20.
He said officers, backed up by reserve police, would check travellers over the lockdown period.
Mr Scott added that only people with exemptions should be on the roads during curfew hours.
