Trash collectors will pick up old Christmas trees over the next two weeks.
A spokesman for the public ministry said the western parishes, west of Tee Street, Devonshire, would have discarded trees collected on January 15.
Christmas trees in areas east of Tee Street, including Pembroke, will get their old trees picked up on January 22.
The spokesman asked people to put their trees out on the assigned day only.
Anyone who wants to dispose of a tree before then should take it to the Marsh Folly dump in Pembroke between 7.30am and 4pm from Monday to Friday and 7.30am to noon on Saturdays.
