Two lawyers working in the Bermuda office of international law firm Conyers have been promoted, one to partner/director and the other to counsel.

Robert Alexander becomes a director in the corporate team and Jonathan O’Mahony becomes counsel in the litigation team.

Mr Alexander, a graduate of Durham University, joined Conyers in 2009, having previously practised with Dentons, Nabarro and Lovells in London.

His practice comprises all aspects of corporate and commercial, funds and financial regulation. Mr Alexander is recognised by Legal 500.

Mr O’Mahony has a broad general commercial litigation background with an emphasis on business disputes, company, partnership, insolvency, trusts and property litigation, the firm said.

He joined Conyers in 2018 from Three Stone Buildings in London, where he practised as a barrister.

Mr O’Mahony is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and St John’s College Cambridge.

He was recognised in the 2019 and 2020 editions of Global Restructuring Review 100.
