The first in-person art exhibit for secondary school pupils in two years has been gaining a lot of interest.

Entries for the 56th annual Middle and Senior School Art Exhibition were put on display at the Bermuda Society of Arts Gallery at City Hall and have been open to the public since last Saturday.

The theme of the art exhibition is “Is Bermuda Another World?” and charged participants with explaining their thoughts through paintings, photography and other artistic mediums.

Attendees are encouraged to vote for their favourite art piece and artist. Pupils will be given People’s Choice Awards at the end of the exhibition.

The art exhibition had been run online since April 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic restricted in-person gatherings.

The exhibits will be open until April 26 and admission will be free on weekdays and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
