Police have appealed for the public’s help on the sixth anniversary of a gun murder.

Patrick Dill, who was 26, was shot outside his home on Crossland Lane, Pembroke, at about 11pm on May 21, 2016 as he got into a car.

Today marks six years since Mr Dill’s murder, a police spokesman said.

The father of two was killed a few days before his 27th birthday.

The case remains open, and the team investigating continues to call for any witnesses or members of the public with information to come forward.

Officers particularly wish to hear from anyone who was in the Crossland Lane area that night and saw individuals acting suspiciously before and after the fatal shooting.

The spokesman added: “Help us bringing some closure to the family and friends of Patrick Dill.

“All information received will be treated in the strictest of confidence and we are urging anyone that can assist the ongoing investigation to call the Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Sergeant Jason Smith, on 717-0864, or e-mail jsmith2@bps.bm.”
