Bank stock buoys

The RG/BSX Index slumped 29.57 (1.33 per cent) to close at 2,188.43 after 3,200 shares ($17,554) of Argus Group Holdings Ltd changed hands.
Argus stock fell $1.24 (20.7 per cent) to close at $4.76.
The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited rose 28 cents to $31.85 on the New York Stock Exchange.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 29.57 (1.33 per cent) to close at 2,188.43
