Ticket sales for Montserrat home fixture put on hold – no explanation given

The Bermuda Football Association has temporarily put tickets for the Concacaf Nations League match against Montserrat at the Flora Duffy Stadium on June 14 on hold until further notice.

The association is awaiting updates on the status of the match and owing to the “uncertainty over logistical matters” and deemed it necessary to stop further ticket sales until such time as the status of the match is confirmed. An update is expected this week.

Having held Haiti to a goalless draw in their group B opener at the stadium on Saturday, Bermuda have travelled to Guyana for their next match at the National Track and Field Leonora Stadium tomorrow before moving to a neutral venue in the Dominican Republic to face Montserrat on Saturday.

The scheduled reverse fixture at Flora Duffy Stadium on June 14 completes this international window before the Nations League resumes in March 2023 with a home match against Guyana and closing away to Haiti.
