Emma and Jack Harvey miss out on progression in swimming heats

Swimming siblings Emma and Jack Harvey both missed out on a qualification from their respective heats at the Commonwealth Games today.
Competing in heat three of the women’s 100 metres butterfly, Emma finished sixth in a time of 1min 2.27sec. Dune Coetzee, of South Africa, took the final qualification spot in the group in a time of 1:00.19.
In the fifth heat of the men’s 100 backstroke, Jack finished seventh in a time of 57:31sec. Joe Small, of Wales, who finished fifth, clinched the final place in the next round from the heat in a time of 55.13.
