Teen missing from care facility again

Police have again reached out to the public to help find a teenager who left a Government Care Facility hours after she was brought back.

A police spokesman said Destiny Winters, 14, had left the facility without permission on Friday evening.

Police said previously she had been returned to the facility on Friday afternoon.

The disappearance is the teen’s fifth in two months.

The spokesman said: “She is described as brown complexioned, approximately 5ft 6in, weighing around 130 pounds with her hair now dyed black, short and curly.

“Destiny was last seen wearing a black rain jacket, shorts as well as black Nike sneakers.

“She is known to frequent locations in Pembroke including Fentons Drive, Parsons Road, St Augustine Hill, Middletown, One Way Deepdale and The Glebe Road.”
