Digital bank founder to speak at Tech Summit
Chance Barnett, the founder of Bermuda’s new digital bank, Jewel, is one of the major speakers expected at the fourth annual Bermuda Tech Summit next month.
He is just one of the senior policymakers, fintech leaders, and international regulators who delegates will hear from as part of Bermuda Tech Week October 24-31.
The event will be held at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club and presented by the Bermuda Business Development Agency, in partnership with government’s Economic Development Department and industry association, NEXT Bermuda.
David Hart, BDA CEO said the in-person Bermuda Tech Summit will showcase Bermuda’s dynamic tech sector, leadership, and innovation after two years of the conference being held virtually.
He said tech entrepreneurs, investors and digital asset enthusiasts across the globe interested in participating in the continued growth and development of Bermuda’s burgeoning tech ecosystem are encouraged to register and book hotel rooms early to avoid disappointment.
The BDA early bird registration rate ends mid-September, and hotel rates may go quickly because of the PGA Tour’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship also taking place from October 27-30.
