Tevahn Tyrell keen to fulfil potential at new club Billingham Synthonia
Tevahn Tyrell is hoping to make an imact as he returns to English football.
The Bermuda striker has joined non-league side Billingham Synthonia after agreeing to the terms of an undisclosed deal.
“It’s a great opportunity and I am looking to maximise my potential,” Tyrell told The Royal Gazette.
“That’s what I want to do; put myself in an environment and a state where I can just be the best I can be and see where things go.”
Tyrell is now looking forward to making his club debut.
“I expect to make my debut as soon as my international clearance comes through and I am hoping Somerset [former club Somerset Trojans] help me out,” he added. “I am just looking forward to everything.”
Billingham are based in Yorkshire and are sixth in the Northern League Division Two.
“They have a lot of factors that interest me and they are open to helping me and giving me a chance in other opportunities in the business realm and things like that,” Tyrell said.
“They are an open club looking to help people grow and they are growing themselves.
“It’s such a big project. They are trying to build and make an enterprise out of themselves and I am like-minded in that sense. So it’s just something I want to be a part of and somewhere I see myself growing.
“I like how they have welcomed me so far and feel this is a recipe for greatness.
“It’s a positive environment I am trying to be involved in and they are also looking to give a chance to my younger brother, Hopde Burrows Jr.
“He’s a young footballer as well and I feel he just needs an opportunity. He is just as good as me, if not better, and I am looking forward to it. I feel it can be something wonderful.
“He’s not at the club yet but they are trying to bring him in. They heard about him and want to give him a look, so they are looking to give him a chance.”
