Police urge motorists to take caution as roads close due to triathlon
Police are encouraging motorists to exercise extra caution on the island’s roads today due to the World Triathlon Championship Series.
The Ministry of Public Works outlined the race’s route and the resulting road closures earlier this week.
Front Street, Flora Duffy Hill, part of Middle Road and Rosebank Road are some of the roadways that will be closed temporarily this weekend.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “There will be roadblocks set up at various points along the route.
“These roadblocks will be manned by members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment, supported by event volunteers.
“Please co-operate with them and follow their instructions and help avoid any avoid situations occurring.”.
Information regarding the full list of this weekend’s closures can be found under “Related Media”.
