Butterfield share price rises on NYSE

The RG/BSX Index plunged 104.58 (4.29 per cent) to 2,332.38, driven down by Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. which closed $1.95 (5.7 per cent) lower at $32.00 after 859 shares changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The only other trading involved West Hamilton Holdings Ltd., which closed unchanged at $7.50, after 1,200 shares were traded.
Butterfield rose on the New York Stock Exchange by 21 cents (0.67 per cent) to close at $31.78
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index plunged 104.58 points or 4.29 per cent
